Denver, CO - Northcreek - When Weitz construction was informed of 125 large glass panels that were badly scratched during the construction process, they called us to see what we could do for them. 25 needed glass scratch removal on the exterior side and had to be repaired from a 135 foot JLG boom lift. San Francisco, CA Intercontinental Hotel - When the Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco discovered a deep chip and some badly scratched glass in their main entrance laminated glass revolving door glass, they called Unscratch the Surface. The deep chip, 0.0019 (nineteen thousanths), while extremely challenging, was no problem for Unscratch the Surface. We also resurfaced one of the tempered panels inside the revolving door on which the glass was badly scratched from fabrication debris damage. When completed, we asked the management to tell us which door we performed our glass scratch removal on, they guessed wrong, twice! And there are only 3 doors in the revolving door! Mission accomplished!
Denver, CO - Colorado Convention Center - The Colorado Convention Center was chosen to host the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Unfortunately, someone also chose to scratch glass graffiti into 58 large windows and glass doors in one night. Three other local glass graffiti repair companies attempted to perform one demo window each. While removing the damage, they created significant distortion. Hornblower Cruises - San Francisco, CA - When rust inhibiting acid was accidentally splashed on a number of tempered glass marine windows, the glass became etched, cloudy, and hazy. Although work had to be performed on a suspended platform, Unscratch The Surface was still able to restore the damaged marine glass to like new clarity!
Waikiki, HI - Prince Kuhio Hilton - 900+ badly scratched large glass windows + doors. (Possible fabrication debris damage). The one pictured looked as if someone took some 60 grit sandpaper and dragged it back and forth across the majority of the glass surface! This was our demo! Although badly and deeply scratched, we were able to completely resurface the entire tempered glass door within a short time...without leaving any distortion! According to hotel management, another scratched glass repair company spent almost 3 days in an attempt to repair similar deep scratches in another glass door. We spent only a few hours!
